Blake L. is the team member who is in charge of the Covid Care Kits.

He is a meticulous record keeper and a great communicator and organizer. He takes a very practical approach to problem solving.

He is a native of Pontotoc Mississippi and will be starting as a surgical intern next year.

Recently, she claimed the title “Leader of Fun”. She takes great joy in making sure that volunteers know how much they are appreciated by leading dance parties, making sure everyone has a hot meal, and has all the support they need.

Mandy V has done so much to help. She has boxed and delivered food and also adopted an elder.

Phoung L. has been worked on several different projects. She started out by facilitating Vietnamese translations of info-graphics and is also working on an Adopt-An-Elder program that works to provide food, supplies and emotional support to elders who are especially vulnerable in this time.

Kathryn L. Is a great example of the #goodkindofviral. She has been leading the Greenwood Community Covid Response.

Christian has been working on food deliveries and box preparations out of the Boys and Girls Club

Elizabeth E. has been working in Biloxi to share information about Covid-19 and directly aiding vulnerable populations with Covid Care Kits and hand wash stations

Jaylan W has been hard at work packing boxers and making deliveries from the Boys and Girls Club at Capitol Street

From the onset of the Covid Response Team’s work, Sam Lane has dedicated his time daily to packaging and delivering food to seniors and families in need. Sam has delivered to well over 50 families as a volunteer with the Jackson Community COVID Response.
